Privacy
Placeholder Draft. This page describes how the website is built to handle data, and must be reviewed and approved by the ministry (and its legal adviser) before launch.
What we collect
- Account: your email address, and optionally your name and phone number.
- Purchases: the books you buy, amounts and payment references. Card and bank details are handled by our payment provider, Paystack, and are never stored on this website.
- Reading: your reading position and bookmarks, so you can continue on another device.
- Forms: what you send through the prayer, testimony, contact and newsletter forms.
Prayer requests
Prayer requests are seen only by the ministry's prayer team and site administrators. They are never published, and are deleted automatically 180 days after they are received. You can submit a request anonymously, without any name or contact details.
Testimonies
Testimonies are private unless you give permission to publish. Even then, nothing is published until the ministry has reviewed it, and only the name you choose is shown.
Newsletter
We only email you if you subscribe and confirm your address. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Spam protection
To limit abuse, forms use rate limits based on a one-way hash of your connection details. Your IP address itself is not stored.
Your choices
You can ask us to correct or delete your personal data. Contact us through the contact page.
